Network Technologies, Inc. serves as the
design and consulting arm of the Terra Bridge I.T. team. The typical design
project scope entails addressing the base building technology
related infrastructure requirements including:
- Space planning with the architect to address required sizes
and locations of technology equipment rooms and telecom backboards.
- Coordination with MEP firm to ensure power and HVAC requirements
are included in the electrical and mechanical construction documents.
- Detailing backbone and horizontal cabling pathways and cable
tray/conduit requirements.
- Detailing backbone and horizontal (station) cabling requirements
(pair/fiber counts and quantities).
- Produce floor plans depicting all outlet locations for telephone,
data, TV, AV and Security system devices. Floor plans also show
cable zoning for all scope areas.
- Provide equipment room and telecom backboard layout and elevation
drawings including power, HVAC and cable management.
- Detail sheets depicting all outlet configurations (showing
termination type and quantity, cable type and quantity and labeling
information).
- Complete coordination with other members of architect's team
to ensure the technology cabling/infrastructure systems are properly
addressed (just as any other building utility) as part of the
base building design.
